About GSAT Birmingham
The Greek School of Ayia Triada Birmingham is at the heart of the Greek Cypriot community in Birmingham. Founded in 1984 by a group of dedicated Greek Cypriots, the school was established with a shared vision: to create a place where families could come together to preserve their language, culture, traditions, and faith under one roof. Their dream was to build a true community hub, bringing together the church, the school, and a welcoming meeting place for generations to come.
Located in Erdington, within The Midlands Greek and Cypriot Association, the school is housed in a building with a long and proud history of serving the local Greek and Cypriot community. For decades, it has been a place where friendships are formed, traditions are celebrated, and the Greek language continues to thrive.
For over five decades, the school has worked continuously to educate and inspire young people, nurturing not only their language skills but also their understanding of Greek history, culture, and identity. Many of our former pupils have grown up, started families of their own, and now proudly bring their own children to the school. This unique continuity is a testament to the strong bonds that connect our community and the lasting impact the school has had across generations.
Today, the Greek School of Ayia Triada Birmingham remains committed to its founding values. We continue to provide a welcoming, supportive environment where children can learn, families can connect, and our rich Greek and Greek Cypriot heritage can be celebrated and passed on to future generations.
